What is the list of documents required to be uploaded while applying for Registration of a New Periodical?

The documents required depend on the ownership category of the periodical:

Non-Individual Ownership(Association / Organisation / Trust / Company / Partnership Firm)

• Document supporting the Date of Incorporation (DOI) of the organization/company.
• PAN card of the organization/company.
• Document supporting the Date of Birth (DOB) of the applicant, publisher, editor, printer, or keeper.
• Photo identity (preferably Aadhaar Card) of the applicant, publisher, editor, printer, or keeper.
• Authorization letter from the owner of the periodical.
• Document supporting the shareholding pattern of the organization (required only if the owner is a company).
• Eligibility and Content Affidavit for registration of a new periodical (on stamp paper) – Download Affidavit for Registration (PDF, 1.2 MB) 
• GST certificate of the organization/company (if available).
• Documents supporting Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), if applicable.

Individual Ownership

• Document supporting the Date of Birth (DOB) of the owner/publisher/editor/printer/keeper.
• Photo identity (preferably Aadhaar Card) of the owner/publisher/editor/printer/keeper.
