I want to apply for a Revised Certificate of Registration after the Ownership Transfer. What process do I need to follow?

Ownership Transfer Application on Press Sewa Portal

Once the Application for Ownership Transfer has been approved by the Press Registrar General of India (PRGI), the New Owner must initiate the process for issuing the Revised Certificate of Registration. 
The steps are as follows:  
Inviting the Publisher:

• The New Owner must invite the New Publisher through the Press Sewa Portal.
• Note: If the New Owner wishes to have the existing publisher, they must invite the existing publisher again. It is important to ensure that a different email ID is used for the publisher while inviting the Publisher, as the Portal does not allow inviting a publisher using an email ID that already exists in the system. 

Steps to Invite the Publisher:

Navigate to: Dashboard → Invite Publisher → Select Revised Registration → Then:

• Choose the relevant Title/Registration Number
• Enter the required publisher details, such as Name, Nationality, Email ID, Mobile Number, etc.

Application by the Publisher:

• Once the publisher has been invited, they must log in to their Press Sewa Portal account (using the login credentials sent via e-mail).
• The publisher should then apply for the Revised Certificate of Registration, ensuring that all the details requiring revision are chosen correctly before proceeding with the application.
